Thanks, Lisa. Coincidentally, I was just about to send around something that I asked Bob Mankoff, The New Yorker's cartoon editor, to write for my blog, which I put up a couple of minutes ago. I thought it was fitting since David was so devoted to covering the caption contest, and, as Matt mentioned in his eulogy, enthusiastically if unsuccessfully entering it, too.
